In a clinical study, LLP-1™ was associated with favorable changes in leptin and adiponectin, hormones that play a key role in satiety and metabolic health. Leptin helps signal feelings of fullness, but its effectiveness may be diminished in individuals with excess weight. In the study, participants taking LLP-1™ experienced reductions in serum leptin levels, which may help support the body’s ability to recognize satiety cues and help with appetite control.¹ The study also observed increases in adiponectin, a hormone associated with fat metabolism and glucose utilization.¹ These results suggest that LLP-1™ may help support healthy metabolic function and weight management when used as a part of a healthy lifestyle.*
The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial evaluated LLP-1™² in women (11 LLP-1™ participants and 11 placebo) with an average BMI of 32.7 over an eight-week period, alongside a calorie-restricted diet and exercise program. Participants taking LLP-1™ reported greater improvement in measures of satiety and body composition compared to the placebo group. On average, participants in the LLP-1™ group also experienced greater reductions in fat mass and waist circumference compared to placebo.¹ The ingredient was well tolerated and did not produce the digestive discomfort sometimes associated with other weight management approaches.
